The Role As the Pilot Plant Coordinator , you will play a key role in supporting our food innovation team at our Sanitarium Development & Innovation site in Cooranbong. This full‑time, permanent position combines leadership with hands‑on technical expertise. You will lead and manage the pilot plant team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment while coordinating pilot trials to support R&D projects. A significant part of your role involves hands‑on operation of pilot plant equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping. Your Responsibilities Will Include Liaising with the wider R&D teams on their work program priorities and coordinating the necessary Pilot Plant team resources to support them Overseeing raw material supply, stock control, and basic equipment maintenance. Ensuring compliance with HACCP, WHS, and food safety standards. Driving continuous improvement and contributing to process refinement. Supporting team development, engagement and a constructive workplace culture. About You Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to engage teams. Background in food manufacturing or R&D environment. Understanding of HACCP and WHS principles. Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Hands‑on approach with mechanical aptitude and willingness to work collaboratively.
