About the Role We are looking for a motivated and passionate Youth Advisor (First Nations Identified) to join our Youth & Community team at Campbelltown. This full‑time position is contracted until 30 June 2026 and reports to the Program Manager (Opportunity Hub). The opportunity hub focuses on inspiring young Aboriginal students to succeed in school and plan for their future post‑school. The role’s core responsibilities include designing, implementing and evaluating programs that assist students transition from school to sustainable work or further education. Core Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong relationships with Youth Services in the region. Build and maintain effective relationships with schools and non‑school education and training providers in the region. Provide written progress reports to schools and referring organisations on client progress. Maintain accurate records. About You We are looking for an ideal applicant with the following: Qualifications & Experience Qualifications and/or work experience in Welfare, Youth, Education or a related field. Extensive experience working with Aboriginal people and communities. Experience working with at‑risk young people and demonstrated understanding of issues facing them. Proven ability to meet outcomes and key performance indicators. Ability to expand programs/services that address social and economic disadvantage. Track record of measurably assisting disengaged young people to remain in school or participate in further education. Personal Skills High‑level written and oral communication skills. Current NSW Driver’s License and private vehicle. Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.
