Associate Photographer

Role Overview Join Domain, part of CoStar Group, to produce high‑quality architectural photography and video for residential and commercial properties. Your media will help market homes, offices, and other real estate to millions of Australians. Key Responsibilities Produce interior and exterior media of residential houses, apartments, office, industrial, and retail properties. Produce engaging videos that showcase the standout features of residential and commercial properties. Capture Matterport 3D walk‑through tours of properties. Create Gaussian Splat drone views of residential and commercial properties where possible. Create compelling exterior media for suburbs, parks, and schools. Use professional‑grade tools to create visually appealing media. Travel up to a week per month as required. Determine optimal timing for shoots based on time of day, season, and location. Edit all photography and video promptly to deliver completed projects. Communicate effectively with clients during scheduling, set‑up, and on‑site interactions. Continue learning and developing skills, staying up to date on new techniques and technology. Participate in team meetings to address challenges and promote collaboration. Basic Qualifications Demonstrable practical experience as a professional real‑estate photographer or similar. Portfolio of real‑estate and lifestyle media (photos, videos, drone media preferred). High school certificate or equivalent. 2+ years professional real‑estate photography and videography experience (or recent graduate with a photography concentration). Full understanding of manual camera settings and lighting. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and experience using macOS and MS Office. Current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) or willingness to obtain it within 6 weeks of joining. Physical and Travel Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 12 kg. Current, valid Australian driver’s licence and ability to hire a car for work travel. Capacity to drive up to 2 hours at a time and work outdoors in all seasons. Occasional night and weekend work required (rotating roster). Must pass a satisfactory driving record check before starting. Preferred Qualifications Enjoys photographing buildings and suburbs, finding creative solutions to challenges. Strong relationship‑building skills; able to develop personal relationships with key contacts. Flexible, adaptable, and excellent at multi‑tasking and time management. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment. Commercial drone photography experience desirable. Ability to capture and edit beautiful interior and exterior property videos and photography. Full understanding of best practices for architectural photography, demonstrating artistic vision and creativity. Why Join Us?
