Bundaberg Location Salary Packaging Available Job Security – Permanent Part-Time role Cook Churches of Christ – Gracehaven Aged Care, Bundaberg Permanent Part Time About the Role Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a permanent part time Cook at our Gracehaven Aged Care Service. This role will see you preparing meals and undertaking basic cooking duties. About you You’re looking for a fresh challenge and enjoy using your cooking skills to create meals that nourish, comfort, and bring a sense of home to our elderly residents. Our ideal candidate Essential Strong understanding of safe food hygiene and kitchen safety practices Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one Valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor Desirable One years' experience as a commercial cook Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook and Internet Explorer Undertake basic record keeping (eg number of meals per day, missed meals, fridge/freezer temps maintained) Confidence in communicating with supervisor and suppliers Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence & Courage About Us For more than 140 years, Churches of Christ has supported individuals, families, and communities with compassion, dignity, and care.
