We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Civil General Labourer to join our team. This role supports civil construction and earthworks projects through hands‑on labouring tasks, safe equipment operation, and assisting site supervisors and machine operators. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities Perform general labouring duties on civil and earthworks sites, including site preparation, trenching, backfilling, and clean‑up. Assist machine operators and tradespeople with daily tasks. Use hand tools and small equipment (e.g., compactors, demo saws, jackhammers). Load and unload materials, equipment, and site deliveries. Maintain clean and safe work areas in line with WHS requirements. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to smooth site operations. Assist with traffic control, signage, and site set‑ups when required. Support installation of basic civil infrastructure such as pits, pipes, and conduits. Skills & Experience Previous experience in civil construction, earthworks, or general labouring (preferred but not essential). Physically fit and capable of manual labour. Ability to work safely and follow WHS procedures. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Experience using hand tools and small machinery (desired).
