Role Overview As the Field Research Manager, you will lead a dispersed team of Field Researchers responsible for capturing critical, on‑site data across high‑priority commercial properties. Your primary focus will be overseeing production and quality standards, driving high performance, and providing coaching and development to ensure excellence in data collection. The role is based in our Sydney office and requires approximately 25% monthly travel to interstate capital cities. Key Responsibilities Build, train, mentor, and coach a growing team of eight professional Field Researchers. Provide constructive, actionable feedback and create action plans to help team members grow and maintain engagement. Ensure the manager’s schedule is aligned with local Field Researchers. Daily review of the team’s production against KPI metrics and assess data quality against established standards. Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and internal partners to meet company objectives. Work closely with Tenant and Market Research teams and spend time in the field to demonstrate best practices for data collection and efficiency. Travel one week of the month to local markets. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience: 3–5 years of direct operations management, preferably managing five or more employees (virtual management is a plus). Experience managing effective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meeting performance metrics. Field experience is a plus. Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and verify data quality. Proven success in building strong, cohesive teams through influence and collaboration. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to articulate and execute corporate strategy. Analytical mindset, interpreting information and trends, and adapting quickly.
