Directions Disability Support – Maddington WA Community Disability Support Worker Directions Disability Support Services Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Disability Support Worker to join our team. This part‑time position is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities within our local community. What you’ll be doing Providing personalised support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and participate fully in their communities Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social and recreational activities Advocating for the rights and needs of the individuals in your care, ensuring they receive the support and services they require Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure the highest standards of care Promoting independence, choice, and social inclusion for the individuals you support What we’re looking for A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, related field or equivalent experience as a Support Worker Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with the individuals in your care and their families A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives A strong understanding of the principles of person‑centred care and the ability to tailor your support to the unique needs of each individual A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel within the local community What we offer Competitive remuneration and tax‑free salary packaging options Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A friendly and collaborative team environment Access to our employee assistance program and wellbeing initiatives About us Directions Disability Support Services Inc. is a leading provider of community‑based support services for individuals with disabilities in the Maddington and surrounding areas.
