We’re looking for an Analyst – Portfolio Analytics to join our team and help us turn data into meaningful action. The Role As part of the Portfolio Analytics team, you’ll provide timely insights and advanced analytical solutions that support Medibank’s 2030 vision and portfolio strategy. You’ll work across health insurance, financial services, and health portfolios to: Maintain and improve BAU deliverables and drive continuous improvement (think automation and efficiency). Translate commercial questions into analytical approaches and deliver insights that influence key decisions. Design and develop bespoke data-driven solutions using SQL, SAS, Tableau, and other tools. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, including finance and actuarial teams. Collaborate on enterprise analytics initiatives and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence. About You You’re curious, detail-oriented, and thrive on solving complex problems. You bring: Tertiary qualifications in analytics, mathematics, statistics, actuarial studies or a related discipline. 1–2 years’ experience in analytics or commercial insights roles. Strong technical skills in SQL and data transformation, plus experience with SAS, Python or R. Excellent communication skills – you can make technical concepts clear for any audience.
