Director, Market Insights, Analytics and Performance 5‑year fixed‑term full‑time position at our vibrant Hawthorn campus. About The Role Are you a strategic leader with a passion for turning data into actionable insights? Swinburne is seeking a dynamic Director to lead our Market Insights, Analytics and Performance portfolio. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the delivery of tailored market intelligence and business insights that influence key decisions across marketing, recruitment, and future student strategies. You’ll oversee the development of forecasting models, enterprise‑wide dashboards, and performance metrics that inform market entry, product development, partnership opportunities, and marketing effectiveness. Your expertise will guide proactive interventions to maximise growth and minimise risk, ensuring Swinburne stays ahead in a competitive landscape. Developing a high‑performing team, you’ll manage strategic planning, financial oversight, and operational excellence to achieve ambitious targets. About You Proven strategic, analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to structure and convert strategies into compelling and achievable work programmes. Demonstrated success in delivering high‑quality business intelligence insights and reporting. Proven ability to exercise initiative and high‑level judgment in a highly competitive and continually changing environment. Demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of a business intelligence, analytics, planning and operations function. Proven ability to develop budgets and effectively manage significant financial, physical and human capital to achieve strategic and operational goals. Qualifications A relevant postgraduate qualification or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of proven expertise in the management of significant human resources and material resources and/or education and training.
