Position Overview Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking a casual Library/Tourism/Events Officer to join the community services team. The role provides support across key cultural and tourism facilities – Bob McDonald Library, Dr David Harvey‑Sutton Gallery, Cloncurry Unearthed Visitor Information Centre & Museum, and John Flynn Place Museum & Art Gallery. $44 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) Flexible casual work opportunities Location: Cloncurry, 4824 (PD Library Tourism and Events Officer Casual, AUD) Key Responsibilities Assist patrons with library services Promote local attractions Manage visitor information Handle retail and cash transactions Maintain museum and library spaces Support event coordination, venue administration, and customer service Qualifications & Experience If you have strong communication skills, a passion for tourism and local history, and an interest in library services, we’d love to hear from you. This casual role also offers training in reception and event support, providing hands‑on experience in community service delivery.
