Senior Solution & Domain Architect - NV1 We are seeking a Senior Solution & Domain Architect to design and assure end-to-end technology solutions across complex, secure enterprise environments. The role spans multi-domain architecture, design governance, documentation, and technical leadership across infrastructure, cloud, network, application, and data platforms. You will work across business and technical stakeholders to develop current and target architecture states, produce detailed-level designs, define integration patterns, and ensure solutions are compliant with enterprise standards, security frameworks, and architectural guardrails. This is a hands-on architecture role, not a CTO or enterprise strategy position. Key Responsibilities Design secure, scalable, efficient and cost-effective solutions across Network, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Data domains. Develop architectural artefacts including high-level designs (HLDs) , detailed designs (DDDs), conceptual architectures, reference architectures, roadmaps, and solution overviews. Define system interfaces, data flows, integration patterns and interoperability requirements. Research, evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools suitable for enterprise adoption. Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure architecture is implemented as designed and aligns with non-functional requirements. Undertake architecture assurance activities including technical reviews, product evaluations, compliance assessments, and documentation quality checks. Prepare design documentation using defined organisational templates, principles and standards. Participate in design governance forums, supporting architectural decision-making and ensuring traceability to standards. Collaborate with stakeholders and provide clear, evidence-based technical guidance and advice. Contribute to the improvement of architectural patterns, standards and reusable guidance. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years' ICT experience Minimum 2+ years producing solution architecture and / or system design documentation Experience supporting or designing secure systems within government or regulated environments. Experience working in complex ICT environments (multi-domain, multi-vendor, hybrid landscapes). Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to collaborate across diverse technical and business teams. NV1 security clearance (mandatory). Architecture certification (TOGAF® or equivalent) desirable or ability to obtain. Experience working in large-scale or global ICT environments. Experience applying ISM and Essential Eight within architectural designs. Capability designing cloud-based and hybrid integration patterns (Azure / AWS, private cloud, SaaS). Experience across a diverse technology mix including on-premise, cloud, SaaS, and secure integration models. Broader industry certifications across networking, cloud, security, infrastructure or data advantageous.
