They design, supply, install and maintain fire protection systems for commercial, residential, government, education and industrial buildings from high-rise towers to low-rise apartments, public buildings and infrastructure. Their services include fire detection systems, emergency warning and evacuation systems, exit & emergency lighting, portable extinguishers, smoke alarms, sprinkler and hydrant systems, fire-hose reels, system maintenance and annual fire-safety certification services (AFSS). They operate under the highest standards of quality, compliance and safety, and hold full FPAS accreditation and required licensing. We are looking for a motivated and experienced leader to take the business forward — with a view to gradually assume leadership and operational control. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Sales & Operations Manager with deep knowledge of fire-safety products and services, compliance and building regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for: Leading sales efforts across fire protection / safety products and services (new constructions, existing buildings, maintenance contracts) Understanding and advising on fire-safety compliance (detection systems, emergency lighting, alarm systems, extinguishers, sprinkler/hydrant systems, exit lighting, signage, AFSS, testing and maintenance) Managing projects from initial enquiry through design, quoting, installation, testing, maintenance and compliance certification Building and nurturing relationships with developers, builders, strata managers, government bodies, property managers and end-clients Overseeing installation and maintenance teams, subcontractors, ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and licensing requirements Coordinating design, scheduling, compliance documentation and certifications (including AFSS, annual fire safety statements) Driving business growth — gradually taking over operational and strategic business leadership What We’re Looking For Extensive experience in selling fire-safety products and services (detection systems, extinguishers, alarms, lighting, sprinklers/hydrants, maintenance) Strong understanding of fire safety compliance, Australian Standards, regulations, AFSS/AESMR requirements and building code obligations Proven track record in project management — quoting, design, installation, maintenance, certification and client liaison Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — ability to engage with developers, building owners, strata managers, government & commercial clients Leadership capability — managing teams/subcontractors, coordinating operations, ensuring compliance and quality control Self-driven, reliable, with a vision to take on increasing responsibility and business leadership Preferable: industry accreditations or certification relevant to fire systems design/installation, compliance or maintenance; knowledge of building regulation and codes; familiarity with both new-build and retrofit/maintenance projects What’s On Offer A senior leadership role with opportunity for long-term growth and eventual business ownership or management succession Diverse work across residential, commercial, industrial and public-sector buildings — new builds, maintenance, fire-safety upgrades and compliance projects Competitive remuneration + performance-linked incentives (sales, contracts, maintenance/recurring business) A respected, established company with strong credentials, licencing, accreditation and reputation in the fire-safety industry Autonomy and a clear path to take over operations and lead future growth Application Apply by sending your resume in Word format to **************@salexo.com.au or call +61 2 9922 9*** for a confidential discussion.
