As a tour guide, you will be invited to learn about our venue and be able to relate this knowledge to mainly school tour groups. Schools from the local area and throughout Central Queensland visit our venue to learn about what it was like to live in the 1800s. Responsibilities Apply for and hold a current Blue Card (Working with children) Participate in on‑job training/learning Work alone/independently as well as part of a team Have a basic understanding of WH&S requirements at the Heritage Village Remain calm in difficult situations Understand and respond to the needs of customers Willingness to undertake other volunteering tasks if required Applicants must be 18 years or older.
