Maxi Taxi Drivers

As an approved NDIS provider with the largest local fleet in the region, we pride ourselves on supporting others in their transport needs. Due to significant growth, we are seeking the support of motivated and passionate people to join our team and help make a difference in our community. MAXI TAXI DRIVER This role will require you to safely transport vulnerable passengers to their venue, place of work, program or home on weekdays, weeknights, weekends and public holidays. This includes high occupancy work and Wheelchair Accessible work. Working within the greater Geelong region you could work anywhere from the Bellarine to the Surf Coast, up to Golden Plains or within Geelong City. This role would suit a current ride share driver looking for a change, a current taxi driver or somebody who has previously driven Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles. ABOUT THE ROLE Most of your work is booked and offered through the Network. Limited rank work required. Work close to home in a region you know. Support our vulnerable community with their transport requirements. Work for yourself as a bailee driver. Lots of variety in the role with new people to meet every day. Be supported by the local team with local onsite training. A vehicle for you to drive with all on-road costs covered by us. We endeavour to offer a 24/7 service, so there is flexibility when choosing shifts. Can be physically demanding from time to time. Drivers are supported by the Network with a comprehensive Safety Management System in place. ABOUT YOU Experience in driving a taxi, commercial passenger vehicle or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. Like meeting new people and visiting new places and feel good about helping others. A valid full Victorian driver’s license. Be local to Greater Geelong, Bellarine, Surf Coast or Golden Plains. Have an ABN or happy to register for one. Must have a valid DAC (Driver Accreditation Certificate from Safe Transport Vic). Have a “W” endorsement on your DAC or be prepared to get one.
