Join to apply for the Teacher - Visual Arts role at Department of Education, Western Australia . This is a twelve‑month fixed‑term, part‑time (0.8 FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026, with possible extension and/or permanency. Role Description The successful applicant will: 1) teach Visual Arts to Years 7‑12, 2) deliver a differentiated curriculum aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum, 3) promote creative outlets and artistic potential, 4) support safe and inclusive learning environments, 5) build positive relationships with students, staff and the community, and 6) collaborate within our professional learning community to drive evidence‑based decision making and differentiation. Qualifications Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration. Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid visa with work rights for the term of appointment. Have experience teaching Visual Arts or a related discipline, with knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum. Possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
