Join to apply for the Transition Project Manager role at Talent We’re seeking an experienced Transition Project Manager to lead critical transition and sustainment projects within a large‑scale environment, ensuring system readiness, reliability and compliance. Engagement Details 24 Month engagement Up to $1100 day rate contract Brisbane based Key Responsibilities Develop and implement transition and sustainment strategies to ensure long‑term system readiness and reliability. Lead stakeholder engagement across engineering, program and operational teams to deliver smooth technical change and acceptance. Manage sustainment risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Oversee delivery of technical training and capability uplift programs for engineering and maintenance personnel. Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to establish support agreements and vendor partnerships. Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards while maintaining strong governance and reporting practices. Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience managing complex technology or infrastructure transition projects within large‑scale environments. Strong understanding of sustainment principles, risk management and contract management. Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills across technical and business teams. Proven ability to work collaboratively with vendors and external delivery partners. Project management qualifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly desirable. Experience in aviation, defence or other highly regulated or safety‑critical industries will be well regarded. Australian citizenship is mandatory.
