About the role As a Staff Backend Engineer, you'll manage complex architectural decisions and spearhead the delivery of practical solutions for customer issues as an integral part of the engineering team. You’ll work alongside product managers, designers, and quality specialists, focusing on platform development, real-time incident reporting, analytics, and IoT implementation. What you’ll do: Deliver practical solutions suited for solving customer problems Build and scale systems that can serve hundreds of thousands of users Contribute to IoT initiatives, machine learning applications, and event-driven architecture Guide and mentor other engineers, fostering a culture of constructive feedback What you’ll need: Experience with security, access, and permissions Background in service-oriented/microservice architectures and experience with key/value stores and relational databases Previous technical leadership experience, with strong foundation in backend technologies and associated frameworks Be able to deliver complex features and requirements, and provide accurate estimates Strong communication skills to articulate technical tradeoffs Demonstrated ability to align business initiatives with company values and good practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
