Riddwood Consulting Engineers is a specialist engineering consultancy delivering complex infrastructure and construction projects across Australia. We are recognised for our leadership in temporary works, digital engineering and constructability‑led design. The Role This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for company‑wide BIM strategy, governance and digital delivery performance. You will work closely with Directors, Team Managers and project teams to ensure BIM is applied consistently, efficiently and in a way that genuinely improves project outcomes. The role goes beyond model management — it is about setting direction, embedding standards, enabling teams and driving innovation. Own Riddwood’s BIM and digital delivery strategy Develop and maintain company‑wide BIM standards, workflows and execution plans Lead digital delivery on major and complex projects, providing oversight and intervention where required Manage and mentor people; BIM Coordinators, Senior Digital Engineers and drafting teams Drive automation, efficiency and process improvement across digital workflows Lead software implementation, training and capability development Act as a senior technical interface with clients on BIM, digital delivery and documentation strategy Collaborate with leadership to align digital capability with business and project objectives About You... You are an experienced BIM professional operating at a strategic and delivery leadership level, likely with a background in engineering consultancy or complex project environments. You will typically bring: 10+ years’ experience in BIM / digital engineering, including leadership responsibility Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders Demonstrated experience managing teams of 5–10 people or more in a BIM or digital engineering environment Proven experience developing and governing BIM standards across an organisation Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and construction‑driven design Practical knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and common collaboration platforms Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, and AutoCAD Civil 3D for comprehensive BIM project delivery A track record of improving efficiency, quality and consistency through digital processes Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and project leadership Experience across multiple infrastructure sectors including civil infrastructure, transport/roads, water/utilities, building construction, and mining projects Australian work rights must be held at time of application Why Riddwood?
