Predominately a Forces Command training base supporting Defence Force School of Signals (tri‑service technicians & operators, electronic warfare systems), Defence Force School of Music (tri‑service musicians) and Army Education Centre. The Army base services approximately 6000 Defence members and operates a 9 bed low dependency ward 24/7. The health centre also provides primary medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental and mental health services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on‑call shifts). What You’ll Do Deliver high‑quality primary care to Defence members Occupation Medicine environment Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment Conduct fitness‑for‑duty assessments and pre/post‑deployment care Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership What You Bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient‑centred care Additional Information Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Provide Occupational Medicine services Civilian role – no enlistment required Fixed Term Full Time opportunity available Who We Are Serco supports more than 12,000 professionals across Asia Pacific, delivering essential services in defence, health, justice, and beyond.
