We are looking for Road Worker's to be part of our team, undertaking planned maintenance work across the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract - Barwon South West, working closely with the Department of Transport and Planning. Ideally you will hold a HR or HC licence (MR acceptable). The team is open to reviewing applications from both experienced candidates and those who are interested in making a start in the industry.You will be responsible for:* Tasks include vegetation control, graffiti removal, pot hole repairs & sign maintenance Mobile plant operation.* Road work construction and maintenance and safe operation near live traffic* Toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific data captureOther activities include: asphalt laying physical duties such as; shovelling, raking, brooming. We're looking for candidates who have asphalt/industry experience or a desire to learn and progress in a new industry. Candidates will need to have:* Availability to work overtime, weekends and nights when required* A current vehicle licence (HR or HC licence beneficial)* Construction induction card* Mobile plant experience would be beneficial* An interest in working outdoors, in all weather conditions.Positions are based at our Warrnambool depot.
