As our Support at Home Team Leader, you’ll guide and inspire a team of Care Partners to deliver exceptional, customer‑focused services. You’ll champion a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement—bringing the City’s vision and values to life every day. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Care Partners. Foster an inclusive, customer‑first culture focused on results and accountability. Coach, mentor, and support staff to achieve their best. Champion health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with aged care standards, Support at Home program requirements, and relevant legislation. Lead quality improvement initiatives and support audits and accreditation. Support change management and service enhancements. About you The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned professional in the Community Care or Aged Care sector, bringing deep knowledge of client packages, funding models, and budget management. You are someone who leads dynamic, high‑performing teams with confidence—championing contemporary, people‑centred leadership, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong safety‑first culture. Qualifications Tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in human services, social work, nursing, or a related field. Significant experience leading or supervising teams in community, aged care, or health services. Experience in business planning, budget management, and resource allocation. Knowledge of relevant legislation, aged care standards, and Support at Home program requirements. Advanced stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. Ability to drive change and foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement. Working with Children’s Check. Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
