Position Details Location: MilduraDivision: Mental Health & WellbeingContract: Fixed Term – Full Time (12 months, maternity backfill)Period: 11 December 2025 – 4 January 2026Salary: $91,913.00 – $105,049.00 Job Description Deliver counselling, skills training and education to individuals, couples and families to improve and better manage relationships. Provide support to families experiencing or adjusting to separation, focusing on strengthening communication, reducing conflict and promoting positive outcomes for children. Lead community development and educational activities that raise awareness of family relationship issues, build capacity and increase participation across the community. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counselling services in line with professional standards. Facilitate family and couple therapy sessions, addressing conflict, communication and coping strategies. Develop and implement community education programs on family relationships. Collaborate with other service providers to coordinate care and referrals. Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with confidentiality and ethical guidelines. Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development activities as required. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualifications relevant to community welfare practice (Social Work, Psychology, Social Science). At least three years’ experience in counselling. Experience in community development initiatives. Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel; prepared for overnight accommodation when required.
