About the Role Are you passionate about the ocean, wildlife, or tourism? Are you a recent school leaver or someone seeking to retrain and explore the maritime industry? This two-year vocational traineeship offers: Hands‑on learning and real experience working with experienced mariners Nationally accredited certificates including General Purpose Hand (Near Coastal) and Coxswain Grade II (Near Coastal) A chance to develop essential skills such as vessel handling, customer service, vessel maintenance, and safety protocols What you’ll do daily Learn the skills of a General Purpose Hand (Deckhand) Assist with vessel operations and maintenance Interact with customers onboard and onshore Support vessel safety and cleanliness Help with traffic control in public areas Gain experience on larger vessels across different routes Why Join Us?
