Senior Electronic/Hardware Design Engineer Boost Design is an engineering design consultancy specialising in the development of electronic products across every vertical from concept through prototyping and into production. We are currently looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our talented development team. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems, developing cutting edge technologies, driving your own projects and being part of a hands-on team where every day is different, then this could be the role for you Responsibilities Work closely with the Department Managers, Project Managers, and other Engineers in a senior capacity in order to bring new products to life Architecture of design solutions, schematic design and PCBA layout to meet project requirements. Work closely with other team members and clients from concept, through prototype and into production Assist in the preparation of documentation including requirements, risk analysis, verification test plans and project reports Provide technical support to other engineers, including developing, reviewing, updating, and approving electrical designs and work schedules Support a culture of ownership and efficiency within the team Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field of engineering At least 8 years of practical experience designing electronic solutions to meet project requirements and general industry standards, in a senior capacity Experience with Altium design software, including setting up design rules and pcb out job packages in a professional and production ready manner Experience with design workflow and best practices such as DFM, QbD, V&V, ECO/ECR, RM Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, including a demonstrated ability to rapidly take up new technologies and incorporate them into your designs Conduct and present research relating to product design options and preferred development approaches Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills An enthusiasm to learn and to continuously develop your skills across a broad range of electronic technologies Experience in Medical, IoT, Bluetooth, RF technologies and R&D will be highly regarded Experience working with other engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Firmware and Software will be highly regarded We have an amazing team and collaboration is key to our success.
