General Practitioner (VR GP) – Central Coast, NSW (DPA position) A mixed-billing teaching clinic operating for 30 years bids farewell to a retiring doctor so you can take over a fully established patient base - partnership opportunities available Fully established patient base for you to take over Partnership opportunity available DPA location close to popular beaches and vibrant attractions A full time GP role is becoming available in this mixed billing teaching practice due to a current doctor transitioning to retirement. You will be able to take over the established patient base and be fully booked quickly. The practice also offers partnership opportunities if you are keen to progress your career in this direction. There are four consulting rooms and three treatment rooms as well as onsite parking and a staff room with kitchen for you and your colleagues to enjoy catch ups over lunch. The clinic is only 200 metres from the local shopping centre, so you will have convenient access to a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. You will be working with three GPs and one GP registrar, who are being supported by three receptionists, two practice nurses and a practice manager. The clinic has been operating for 30 years so you will be looking after several generations of families in the local community, you will feel part of their extended family The practice is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm so you can enjoy a swim after work or explore the local area in your evenings There is a shared weekend on-call roster of 1 in 5, however call outs are rare as there are after hours medical centres in area. The Location You will always have plenty to do in this vibrant region of the Central Coast. The area is only one hour drive north of Sydney and five minutes from popular beaches and national parks. There are affordable housing options, quality education and abundant sporting facilities as well as a great variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. DPA position and visa sponsorship are available. RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates (substantially comparable) and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
