$34.68 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) Our client, one of Australia's leading manufacturers of roll formed steel building products, has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator to join their well-established team on a casual basis located in Maddington. The role will be working 6am – 2.06pm, Monday - Friday on a competitive hourly rate of $34.68 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) Responsibilities Manual handling of Sheetmetal product, lengths can be anywhere from 1m – 3m long, not overly heavy but can be awkward lengths. Products can include flashings, cladding, steel coils. Will receive training in using overhead crane to load steel coils onto machines. Offside machine – manually remove products from end of production line and place into racking/storage. Ensure machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. Qualifications Experience as a machine operator. Experience within steel/metal distribution or manufacturing (desirable). Be available for an immediate start. Have a current National Police Clearance valid within 3 months, or be able to obtain one.
