Senior Toyota Production System Advisor Join Toyota Motor Corporation Australia as a Senior Toyota Production System Advisor. This maximum‑term role (till 22 January 2027) is based in Altona North and requires interstate travel approximately twice per month. You will lead project teams through the implementation of the Toyota Production System, design improvement strategies, deliver training, and provide on‑site coaching at project sites. Design and deliver Toyota training programmes—both formal and informal—to internal and external audiences, sharing expertise on the Toyota Production System and its practical application. Identify and scope new projects, develop strategic improvement plans to address business challenges, and track performance against established targets. Recommend corrective actions when necessary to ensure objectives are achieved. Create and maintain visual management tools that display project status and outcomes, enabling transparency and driving continuous improvement. Coordinate and lead regular stakeholder meetings to review project milestones, ensuring clear communication of plans, progress, and issues. Oversee annual internal Toyota Production System Support Centre (TSSC) process improvement initiatives and provide monthly status reports on project performance. Qualifications & Experience A degree qualification in engineering or equivalent relevant experience. Proven experience in process and production roles within a similar environment focusing on process improvement initiatives. Knowledge and practical experience with the Toyota Way, Toyota Business Practices (TBP) and Toyota Production System (TPS) is highly desirable. Demonstrated strong experience in creating content and delivering training and coaching to both internal and external stakeholders, in onsite and offsite settings, with the ability to adapt and cater to different audiences in Toyota and external offsite settings. Strong interest in problem‑solving and a process improvement‑oriented mindset will be highly regarded. Project management experience is highly advantageous. Applications close on 28 November 2025.
