About The Role Ventia are seeking Apprentice Distribution Linespersons within our Infrastructure Services division based out of Dandenong Victoria for early 2026. Our Infrastructure Services division has had major growth over the past 12 months and with this we are seeking multiple apprentices with a strong desire to work and develop as Distribution Linesperson along with a can‑do attitude and wanting a rewarding and successful career. What you'll be doing Installing and maintaining conductors aerial equipment and lines Installing and maintaining all associated electrical supply equipment Upgrade and construction of new and existing assets Study and interpret technical drawings network diagrams and maps Complete comprehensive risk assessments Termination of conductors Stringing and terminating overhead conductors Follow work to all HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements About You We are seeking people with a strong mechanical mind set with a willingness to learn and become the best they can be accompanied with the following skills : Have a valid driver’s licence Willingness to travel Strong in Literacy and Numeracy Basic skill in the use of hand and power tools (ideal) Willing to undertake a medical and police check Be a permanent resident or an Australian Citizen Diversity Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
