About the Role The role of Senior Business Analyst at the ABC is to provide expert analysis on complex technology-based business processes and advise on the design and implementation of sophisticated information technology enabled solutions that address business needs. This role is critical in ensuring that business process improvements are delivered to the widerorganisation. As a member of the Business Readiness Practice in Portfolio and Delivery Services-the Product and Technology division, you will work autonomously on some initiatives and with business analysts and change managers on others. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders and coach and support other members of the project and practice team to helpfacilitate a positive working environment. You will also: Ensure business processes are met at a high level and are accurately represented in every phase of the project including handover documentation and transition activities. Liaise with and manage stakeholder expectations in a transparent, communicative and productive manner. Conduct data and business process modelling and improvement, using online tools to collaborate and manage user stories. Undertake peer review and mentor junior team members to ensure quality deliverables and assist with skill development. About You Significant expertise in analysis of complex information technology systems and business processes. Well-developed ability to logically, qualitatively design and implement moderate to complex information technology solutions for medium to large size organisations. Demonstrated success in information technology and business process improvements. Outstanding skills in process modelling, data modelling, and system design combined with an outstanding ability to apply theoretical technical knowledge to business requirements. Must be able to work as a team member on complex projects, effectively interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders, developing good relationships. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to explain technical issues and clarify business requirements with a diverse group of project stakeholders. Proven ability to conceptualise and think creatively, work independently to provide accurate estimates and work efficiently to meet project commitments and aggressive deadlines.
