Warehouse Associate – DECIEM | THE ABNORMAL BEAUTY COMPANY What is DECIEM? We are growing rapidly and are looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with us What we're looking for We are hiring a full‑time Warehouse Associate to work at our distribution centre in Port Melbourne. This role requires you to be on site Monday‑Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, and may require overtime during busier periods such as the lead‑up to Christmas. As we have entered the busy end‑of‑year period, to be successful you must be fully available to work through December with no leave approved during that time. What you'd be doing in this role Optimise loads to ensure operational efficiency, schedule vehicle maintenance and repair, and inspect vehicles for damage. Transport valuable items to different locations within the facility and secure loads before transportation. Maintain warehouse organisation – organise shelving, wrap skids, and prepare them for lifting onto racks. Receive and process incoming stock and materials. Organise and retrieve stock, including picking, filling orders, packing and shipping. Gather materials from a pick list. Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items. Ensure standards for quality and health & safety are met, including adherence to safety management standards and identification of workplace hazards. Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization, ensuring tidiness standards are respected and maintained. Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and procedures (e.g. shipments, safety standards, stocking). Skills and qualifications High school diploma or relevant designation preferred. Valid forklift certification required. 1–2 years of warehouse experience required. Ability to multi‑task with effective time management and communication skills. Attention to detail, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
