Senior Electrical Engineer & Existing Buildings Lead NDY Canberra, Australian Territory, Australia Exposure to varied high profile projects & clients across building services Flexible working and 5 weeks annual leave The Position We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Leader to join our ACT team. We seek a highly motivated, senior engineer to lead our electrical design solutions and project teams for timely project delivery. As part of a senior, highly technical team you can expect to be exposed to various large-scale projects. Who we're looking for As a confident communicator who is articulate and confident in developing new and existing relationships, you will be working with like-minded individuals who are flexible in their approach to challenges, motivated, and share the ability to think laterally in delivering smart technical solutions to our clients. Experience and technical ability to manage resources, financial performance, and delivery of multi-discipline projects as a project coordinator. Complete engineering analysis and design of electrical systems as well as liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Knowledge of HV system is not a prerequisite but is seen as an advantage. Apply the latest technologies to our ever-expanding workload of building services. to verify design work completed by others and provide mentoring, coaching, and training to less experienced engineers and project coordinators. Strong technical background that you want to continue to build on with experience across different market sectors including health, tertiary education, among others. Your Capabilities Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information of a complex nature both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders across multiple disciplines including colleagues and clients. Established experience in relevant professional engineering experience across the full project lifecycle and responsibility for delivering projects Experience working within the building services sector utilising Australian building codes and standards. Strong understanding of relevant Standards and Building Codes in your region. Accredited with CPEng or ACT Professional Engineers Registration Well-developed understanding of Project Stages and Delivery methods (e.g. full design, design and construct) Ability to exercise well-developed problem-solving skills and use substantial initiative and judgement to work independently to meet objectives About NDY NDY, A Tetra Tech Company, is a leading firm of consulting engineers with a global presence.
