Software Engineer - Frontend at Diraq Diraq is redefining scalable quantum computing by enabling millions of qubits on a single chip – far beyond the hundreds available today – to unlock practical, commercial quantum applications. We are building a full‑stack quantum computing company, delivering quantum hardware and software as a cloud‑accessible service. Our proprietary technology, backed by over 20 years of research and more than $150 million in grant and venture capital funding, and protected by 11 patent families, leverages existing silicon CMOS manufacturing and foundries to accelerate development and reduce costs – paving a faster, more efficient path to market. We are a team of world‑leading scientists, engineers, and business professionals. With a strong IP portfolio and partnerships with global technical and commercial leaders, we are shaping the quantum ecosystem of the future and driving meaningful impact across the entire industry. We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to build intuitive and high‑performance web applications that power quantum control and measurement software. You will work closely with engineers and scientists to create tools that enable seamless interaction with complex systems and data. Job Responsibilities Build interactive web applications for quantum control and measurement software. Create useful web apps for our Engineers to interface and manipulate their systems and data. Build data management and visualization systems for company users. Integrate with backend APIs in a real‑time manner. Job Requirements Experienced with web components (e.g., Lit) and standards‑based web development. Some knowledge of data visualization approaches and libraries. Proficient with build tools (Vite, esbuild, or similar). Experienced with Git and collaborative development workflows. Comfortable working with scientific/technical data and visualizations. Advocate for lean, minimalistic code that is “complex enough to do the job, but no more.” Nice to Have Experience with scientific computing or laboratory software interfaces. Python for backend integration and scripting. Experience with visualization libraries and/or raytracing. Experience building progressive web applications (PWAs). Understanding quantum computing concepts or a physics background. Experience with time‑series data visualization. Contributions to open‑source visualization or scientific software projects.
