home_work Remote Posted 1 day ago About Crypta (Client of AYE Capital) Crypta is an early-stage startup looking to bring the gambling and trading worlds together with the first probability-based decentralised exchange (DEX). We are building a platform that connects a fast-paced gambling exchange, a Bitcoin lottery and a provably fair online crypto casino to an open Bitcoin liquidity pool that lets anyone be the house. Instead of traditional order books or opaque casino odds, Crypta’s exchange lets users trade highly volatile synthetic assets whose prices evolve from random cryptographic hashes rather than buy and sell orders. This makes the system provably fair and naturally resistant to market manipulation. About the Role We’re looking for a full-stack developer who can comfortably own features end-to-end: from the React UI through to Node.js APIs and database design. You’ll be the kind of person who is confident working across backend, frontend, and mobile layers. You’ll work closely with the founders to design and build: The first fast-paced gambling exchange where assets move based on cryptographic hashes An innovative online crypto casino and Bitcoin lottery Eventually converting the exchange into a decentralised exchange (DEX) on a public blockchain (Solana, Ethereum, Polygon etc.) This is a hands‑on builder role in a small team. You’ll have significant influence on architecture, tooling, and the overall product direction. What you’ll do: Own features end-to-end Design, implement, and ship new product features across front end and back end Translate product requirements into technical specs and tasks Front End (Typescript + React + Vite) Build responsive, performant UI for casino games, trading markets, dashboards, and admin tools Integrate with REST/JSON APIs and websockets for real-time prices & game events Implement reusable components, state management, and smooth UX flows Build and maintain Node.js services for authentication, user balances, and game/exchange logic Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations Integrate with blockchain services, payment providers, and third‑party APIs (where required) Quality, Security & Reliability Write tests and participate in code reviews Use observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) to monitor systems Help design secure systems around wallets, deposits/withdrawals, and game fairness Contribute to technical design for moving from CEX architecture to DEX (e.g. smart contracts, on‑chain order settlement, oracle integration) Help identify parts of the system that should be on‑chain vs off‑chain Work closely with founders, product and design Help set standards and best practices from the ground up Tooling: Git & GitHub, VSCode What you’ll need: Please only apply if the following are true: Full‑Stack Experience You have built real products across both frontend and backend React Framework with Vite builder Strong experience building SPAs/frontends using React Comfortable using build tools such as Vite Experience building APIs/services in Node.js Familiar with common backend patterns (routing, auth, validation, error handling) Typescript for Frontend Strong Typescript skills on the front end Comfortable with types, interfaces, generics, and catching bugs at compile time VSCode or similar IDE Proficient with VSCode or a comparable modern IDE (debugging, extensions, formatting) Confident using Git for version control, pull requests, branching, and code reviews Comfortable working with a GitHub based workflow Familiar with SQL (PostgreSQL) Able to design tables, write queries, and understand indexes Experience with PostgreSQL specifically is a strong plus Gambling / Trading Platforms Background in online betting, casino platforms, exchanges, or trading systems Understanding odds, trading markets, and risk management concepts Crypto / Web3 Experience integrating with blockchain networks, wallets, or smart contracts Understanding of on‑chain vs off‑chain design, oracles, and general DeFi primitives DevOps Experience with CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests and deployments Familiar with dockerized containers for packaging and deployment Debugging techniques Use of Chrome Devtools and attached debuggers for tracing and resolving bugs Monorepo Understanding of monorepo (Turborepo) structures for managing shared packages.
