About the Role We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate person that enjoys providing support services to residents through short-term counselling, information, referral, advocacy, group work and community development activities. Reporting to "Service Lead Family & Community Services", this position is based in a community centre in Coolbellup, as well as outreaching into the community at various times. About you You’ll be focused on guiding and providing information, and also developing services and strategies that meet the local community needs. Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counselling or related area Be accredited or eligible for accreditation with a relevant Australian professional association (including ACA, PCFA or AASW) Experienced developing programs & services, highly developed report writing, data collection, communication and customer service skills.
