MACA Mining are seeking a Leading Hand lv fitter mechanic at our Gruyere Gold mine project. The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia. Some of the equipment you can expect to work on include highway trucks - watercarts, tilt trays, hino and Iveco flatbed with 9T Hiabs, fire truck, coaster busses, 250T Manitowoc crane & 25T MAC25 Terex crane. Our Ancillary and light vehicle fleet consist of Toyota, Landcruiser, Hilux, Fortuner, HiAce, EWPs, Manitou telehandlers, forklifts, gensets, bob cats and mini diggers. Key responsibilities: Possess a positive leadership style, with exceptional time-management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities while providing guidance, assistance, and supervision to the maintenance team. Manage performance, planning servicing, repair and preventative maintenance on the LV fleet on site Ensure work health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to Ensure all required paperwork is completed to a high standard by tradespeople Must be proactive in the workplace to ensure quality work is being completed Must comply with reasonable request from the supervisor To be Successful in this Role, You Will Possess: Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Cert Mine site experience as an LV mechanic Ability to troubleshoot and fault find complex mechanical and hydraulic problems. Experience in an open pit surface mining environment. Drivers Licence preferable Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
