Moondarra Cheese is a growing cheese manufacturer in Dandenong South. A family-owned company operating for more than 22 years, we are the number one manufacturer of flavoured retail cream cheese products supplying all major supermarkets and export markets. We operate 24 hours, 5 days a week and have a fantastic team of people who are the lifeblood of the business. About the role We have a casual opportunity for a motivated and reliable Food Production Cleaner to join our dedicated night shift team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our production machinery is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised, in line with food safety and hygiene standards, in preparation for the next day’s production. Please note that this role is focused exclusively on cleaning – there is no production involved on the night shift. Shift hours are 11:00pm to 7:00am - with 2 to 4 shifts per week between Monday to Friday. Responsibilities Clean and sanitise industrial machinery, production equipment and warehouse areas. Assembly & disassembly of machinery Setting up of machinery for next day production Lifting up to 25 kg Working in hot & wet environment when cleaning Safe handling of cleaning chemicals Filling in related food safety documents in English Some calculating Reading instructions Qualifications Availability to work Monday to Friday. Reliable transport and a valid Driver's Licence . Knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards (highly regarded). Previous cleaning experience in a food production environment, ideally in dairy products. Previous experience in handling cleaning chemicals. Be physically fit, as the role involves lifting, bending, and twisting. No chemical or nut allergies. Full working rights in Australia.
