Solutions Engineer

Overview Solutions Engineer role at Netskope. This position involves working with customers and partners as the primary point of contact for feedback and issue resolution, advocating for customers with HQ Support, and providing feedback to Product Management on feature requests and enhancements. Heavy travel within the region is required to support engagements. Responsibilities Exceed sales targets Articulate the high-level benefits of Netskope's architecture to target audiences (typically senior security management up to CISO and CIO) Construct best practices for presentations, demos, and Proof of Concept/Value exercises and overall win strategy Participate in regional customer success, help resolve customer satisfaction issues, and escalate cross-functionally when needed Understand customer needs and position Netskope as the best solution that provides business value Present the Netskope cloud security solution to prospective customers Create and deliver product demonstrations Gather customer technical requirements Represent at trade shows as necessary Provide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate Netskope Create evaluation test plans with customers/partners and manage the evaluation process to a successful conclusion Lead Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) Present at conferences and seminars Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs Qualifications 5 years of relevant experience as a Solutions/System Engineer with proven ability to present technical information to business executives or architects Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external executive audiences Ability to scale from whiteboard to security architects to influencing CISOs Customer-focused with a dedication to satisfaction, even with difficult customers Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration on Linux, macOS, and Windows Proficient in mobile device technologies (MDM/MAM) and OS such as Android and iOS Knowledge of certificates, key management systems, HSM and related protocols Hands-on experience with information security solutions (Web Proxy, NGFW, Security Gateways, remote access, site-to-site VPN, SAML/SSO, DLP, data security) and regex expressions Experience with Cloud Identity Providers, SCIM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and SD-WAN deployments and integrations Experience with Active Directory Services including ADFS; working knowledge of Azure AD preferred Experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Understanding of the threat landscape and ability to distill technology trends into simple explanations Willingness to travel within the region; experience selling cloud-based technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) Desire / Additional Experience with scripting languages such as Python and REST API frameworks Experience with other vendor cloud security solutions is advantageous Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CCSE, GCFW, PCNSE, JNCIS-SEC/JNCIP-ENT, GCIH, etc) Agile Scrum Certification (CSPO, CSM, CSP) or PMP for project management Advanced network certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CCSP, JNCIE) Education Relevant Bachelor’s degree; preference for computer science or related fields Netskope is committed to implementing equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants for employment.
