The Role We are seeking a construction and property development lawyer with litigation experience to support our client in the finance industry, through a period of high activity. Working closely with the Founder and Head of Legal, this role will involve advising across a range of construction, property development, financing, insolvency, and litigation matters. The successful lawyer will be pragmatic, commercially minded, and confident handling a high volume of varied matters with minimal supervision. This is a hands‑on, in‑house style position where clear communication and a practical approach will be essential. The role will initially require around 30 hours per week (approximately 5 hours per day) for an initial period of two months , before reducing to 15–20 hours per week for a further 18–24 months . On‑site attendance at the company’s Erina office is required one day per week (ideally Tuesdays) , with flexibility to work remotely for the remaining hours. The position is available for an immediate start . Key Requirements Approximately 3+ years’ PQE , ideally at Associate level or above. Experience in construction, property development, and related dispute resolution matters. Sound understanding of financing, insolvency, and liquidation issues. Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities. Excellent communication skills and a practical, solutions‑focused approach . Availability for approximately 30 hours per week initially , reducing over time. Willingness to attend the Erina office once per week . #J-18808-Ljbffr
