The gaming lounge is currently ranked #4 in the VGCCC Expenditure rankings. About the Role: We’re seeking a motivated and hands‑on Assistant Restaurant & Functions Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager , you’ll support the daily operations across Saige Bistro and our function operations—ensuring outstanding service, smooth event execution and a positive guest experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager or a very experienced Supervisor looking to step into a management role within a dynamic, multi‑outlet environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead shifts in restaurant and function operations Assist with managing, training, and mentoring FOH teams to maintain high standards of service Responsible for conducting team briefings, service delivery and guest experience, managing staffing levels and daily financial reporting for the outlets Work closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless execution of restaurant service and functions Taking ownership of a variety of delegated areas of responsibility, changing over the year to support your ongoing development and F&B operations Support rostering, stock control, and operational efficiency Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS, and company policies About You: Hospitality is a way of life for you, not just a job. You’re a natural leader with excellent interpersonal skills. Experienced in similar roles within the food and beverage industry.
