State and Local Governments Landscape Architects Builders, Developers & Engineers Sporting Clubs Commercial Organisations National Park Groups Experience & skillset required: Minimum 3+ years' experience as Estimator on projects involving steel fabrication, carpentry, and building structures as listed above. Tasks include:
Gather proposals, blueprints, reviews project documentation, plans, details, and specifications of the project. Identify labour, material, and time requirements using provided documentation. Prepare and execute presentations to clients, consultants, and other external stakeholders. Engage in tender review with the Senior Estimator and State Manager prior to submitting any tenders. Liaise with project managers during the project to obtain feedback on estimates and modify. Benchmark price database accordingly. Computer skills with measuring software (Adobe, Bluebeam, and Mudshark). Must have full Australian working rights for this role. Desired qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or related field. High level of written and verbal communication skills. Driver's license or ability to get to the office. National Police Check or be willing to obtain at our expense. What can we offer you?
