Outreach Mobile Employment Consultant - Mackay MRAEL have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Employment Consultant to join the Intojobs team to deliver the Workforce Australia Employment Services. This position is based in our Mackay office with outreach responsibilities extending to Moranbah and Dysart. About the Role: As a Mobile Employment Consultant, you will provide one-on-one support to manage a caseload of participants within the Workforce Australia program to achieve sustainable and fulfilling training and employment outcomes. A solid understanding of people centered case management principles including barrier management is core to continued success. Key responsibilities: Work one-on-one with job seekers to assess strengths, barriers, and employment goals. Motivate, engage and inspire job seekers to build their skills, experience and confidence and to work with them to remove their perceived barriers Create and manage tailored job plans that support long-term employment outcomes. Build strong relationships with local employers to create job opportunities Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and job readiness support Track and report on job seeker progress in line with program guidelines. Provide post-placement support to both the jobseeker and employers Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following skills and experience: Have a current unrestricted drivers licence Demonstrated ability to communicate and build rapport with jobseekers and employers Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people from different socio-economic backgrounds Be passionate about helping people and making a difference in the community Be highly organised and possess strong administration skills Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases Be results and target driven Be flexible and capable of managing competing demands in a fast-paced and changing environment Previous Workforce Australia or employment services experience is highly regarded for this position About us: Our purpose is to enable and support people and businesses to realise their potential through opportunities for quality education, training and employment.
