As the Assistant Service Manager, you will support the Fun Squad Service Manager to support team members and assist with daily duties. A key focus of the role is to support the Service Manager to build and maintain stakeholder relationships to increase commitment to the PCYC brand, while inspiring a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values. About You Minimum Certificate III in childhood studies or other qualifications recognised by the regulatory authority AND working towards a Diploma in childhood studies or other qualifications recognised by the regulatory authority Must hold one of the following child protection certificates: CHCPRT025 - Identify and report children and young people at risk, CHCPRT026 - Support the rights and safety of children and young people, or CHCECE057 - Use collaborative practices to uphold child protection principles Ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary Fun Squad team Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing Fun Squad operations Hold a Working with Children Check / Blue Card (or able to obtain) Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain) Please note: Working with Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies.
