Due to rapid growth, we’re looking for a motivated, passionate Junior Data Analyst to join the team in Melbourne. This is an opportunity for you to be a part of the first technology-driven influencer agency in the region, where your analytical skills will directly impact the success of leading brands in the rapidly evolving influencer marketing and social media landscape. The role As our Junior Data Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in extracting, analysing, and interpreting data from our comprehensive data sets to provide valuable insights for our clients and internal teams. You’ll be instrumental in developing benchmarks, crafting industry reports, and supporting our sales and client teams with data-driven strategies. You will work across our global teams, in Australia and Europe. Key Responsibilities Extract and analyse data from our data warehouse using SQL and other tools. Create clear and concise reports for clients, highlighting key performance indicators. Assist in the development of industry benchmarks and performance standards. Contribute to the creation of industry reports for PR and brand-building initiatives. Provide data support to sales and client teams to aid in client acquisition and growth. Ensure data accuracy and consistency. Skills and Experience 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis role. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) preferred. Proficiency in SQL and data querying tools. Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A keen interest in social media and influencer marketing. Experience with Python/R for data analysis would be looked upon favourably. Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) is a bonus. Awareness of AI and ML technologies and principles is desirable. Exposure to NoSQL databases.
