About the Centre The Peter Krenz Leisure Centre is owned by the City of Greater Bendigo and proudly managed by the YMCA. The Centre provides a wide range of programs and activities, including Learn to Swim, Group Fitness, Recreational Swimming, Health and Fitness, Stadium and Squash hire. The main goal of the YMCA is to provide opportunities for all people to be more active, more often and help them reach their personal fitness goals. About the Role As a Swim Teacher at Peter Krenz, you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school‑aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students. Structure and design lessons with appropriate activities that challenge and develop your students swimming and water safety ability Recommend students for level progression as appropriate Teach and model effective problem‑solving skills and conflict resolution skills This is a Casual role with an hourly rate up to $32.25 + super & Y Benefits. About You You will be passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people. Experience in other teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary.
