Location of work: Andale School, Weeden Heights PS and Ruyton Girls School, Outside School Hours Car Program. The Role: Qualified Assistant and Lead Role Educator Availability: Available across the 5‑day week (between Monday to Friday) Location: Must be able to work across all three sites between Monday to Friday Hours of Work: 15hrs+ per week – Before School Care and After School Care and operational Vacation Care periods Split Shift Allowance: (morning shift and afternoon shift) Able to have an understanding and know how to care for children with mild additional needs. A reliable motor vehicle to drive to and from the work site. The Position: Have fun and support the delivery of a rewarding and engaging program that guides children to explore, ignite their curiosity, learn, and play at our OSHC. Deliver truly remarkable experiences for children, families, and staff. Deliver the program planning, preparation, and service delivery to the company and regulatory standards and policies. Ability to document the delivery of the educational program, children's interests, and assessments of their learning and development needs with support systems in place. Support and delivery of industry standard requirements (NQF, Child Care Regulations), with knowledge of the sector. Provide and support a caring environment that is safe, clean, and nurturing for families and the school community. Ability to create respectful relationships with children, families and the school community. Excellent interpersonal skills, problem‑solving skills and communication skills. Ability to use and navigate technology (emails, software, work, printer, tablet, Apps). Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience in the OSHC or childcare industry is preferred. Working towards or has an approved Diploma Level qualification or has completed a minimum Diploma level qualification in either the Early Years, School Aged, Education Support, Education or Allied Health sector. Hold a First Aid level 4 certificate or be willing to complete. Willing or has completed the Government Child Safe Training prior to employment commencement.
