Senior Occupational Therapist – Paediatric Caseload Full-time or part-time | Clinic, school, home & community-based services A leading multidisciplinary paediatric practice in Parramatta is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Occupational Therapist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who loves supporting children aged 0–18, enjoys mentoring junior clinicians, and is ready to step into a position that balances clinical excellence with leadership and service development. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy for children aged 0–18 Develop and review individualised therapy plans aligned with each child’s NDIS goals Provide therapy across clinic, school, home and community environments Maintain accurate and timely documentation, case notes and progress reports Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic, family-centred care Communicate effectively with parents, carers, educators and support coordinators Coach and empower parents to carry over therapy strategies at home Participate in regular team meetings, supervision and case discussions Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice Provide advanced clinical reasoning and support team members during supervision Take students and supervise at least two mentees, providing high-quality guidance Contribute to clinical protocols, templates, resources and service improvement initiatives Identify training needs and deliver targeted in-services or workshops Act as a point of escalation for clinical or caseload concerns raised by junior staff Support diary management and caseload build-up for junior clinicians Build relationships with external stakeholders and represent the service where required What We’re Looking For Qualifications & Checks Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy AHPRA registration Current WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle Manual handling competency Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years full-time experience working with children with disabilities Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and ability to navigate it confidently Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Strong leadership, mentoring and supervision skills Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high clinical standards Passion for working with children, families and diverse communities Strong organisational skills and confidence managing a busy caseload International experience will only be considered from New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, the USA, and Canada.
