This role provides crucial Asset Reliability & Maintenance advice to clients from both strategic and front-line perspectives. You will be an integral part of a high performing team of integrity and maintenance professionals executing jobs of varying sizes and complexity. To ensure your success, you will be mentored by professionals with a wealth of experience with many asset types across a range of industries. The type of assignments may include: RCM Assessments Failure Investigations Operational Readiness Projects Developing maintenance and asset integrity programmes and plans We are Agile This allows us to be light on our feet and progressive as we don’t get bogged down in bureaucracy. We get that the 9-5 isn’t for everyone, and we’re open to hear what works for you. This role would suit a person with a background in mining, hydrocarbons or chemicals environments. The person will require excellent communication skills and proven capability to perform under pressure, individually and as part of a team. Key Skills & Experience: A degree in Mechanical Engineering Between 5 – 10 years of work experience preferably within a reliability/maintenance function in a mining, hydrocarbons or chemical environment Understanding of local and international standards An understanding of computerised maintenance management software and/or reliability management software / databases Exposure to risk management and process safety concepts Behaviours: Proactive safety focus for physical and process safety situations Application of Risk Based perspective to all tasks The energy and passion to challenge themselves, innovate and step outside their "comfort zone" Ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels within internal and external teams We are growing At Verbrec, we empower change and create opportunities for you to develop a supercharged career pathway, whether it is a technical, or focused on the people.
