Overview Spa Receptionist (Casual) role at JW Marriott. Location: JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, 158 Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. Responsibilities Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software system. Call guests to confirm scheduled services and answer questions about available services. Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day; inform providers of last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues with supervision/management. Check in guests for appointments, confirm names, and provide general spa orientation upon arrival. Promote and sell spa/salon services. Process guest payments for spa/salon services and obtain payment authorization as needed. Successful Candidates will have Excellent personal presentation standards and professional phone etiquette. Guest-centric approach, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude. Previous experience as a spa receptionist; strong communication skills and a warm personality. Good computer skills with Microsoft Word/Excel and Outlook. Retail sales skills are an advantage. Weekend availability. The Benefits Unlimited strategic development and career opportunities.
