Location City of Melville Civic Centre Salary $93,877.27 to $100,783.71 pro‑rate p.a. + 12% Super Employment Type 12‑Month Fixed Term, Part Time 0.8FTE What You’ll Be Doing Designing and evaluating communication and audience development strategies Managing media releases, enquiries and on‑site opportunities with journalists and partners Producing compelling written content, photography and videography Overseeing graphic design, advertising, print collateral and promotional campaigns Developing dashboards, surveys and reporting tools to better understand our audiences Supporting budget management and responsible resource use Building strong internal and external relationships to champion arts engagement What We’re Looking For A genuine interest in arts and culture within a community setting At least two years’ experience in marketing, communications or promotions, ideally in the arts or a related field Strong capability in audience research, data tracking and insight gathering Experience creating high‑quality content across digital and print platforms Advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills Excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Strong attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative working style Effective organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Qualifications in graphic design, digital content creation or marketing will be highly regarded How to Apply Apply online via the Apply button and provide a comprehensive resume and cover letter (no more than 2 pages) demonstrating fulfilment of essential requirements outlined in the Position Description attached.
