About You You’re an engineer who thrives on problem‑solving, enjoys being on the factory floor, and loves products, sustainable Australian made manufacturing. You have a strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and how to get the best performance from both people and machines. A relevant mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification. 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. (Plastic Injection moulding highly desirable). Experience in process development, quality optimisation, and continuous improvement. Familiarity with materials and manufacturing methods such as plastic injection moulding, assembly, or automation. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross‑functionally with design, production, and operations. Role & Responsibility Lead the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and safety. Support the transitioning of new products into full‑scale production and manage handover from design to manufacturing. Conduct technical evaluations and risk assessments for materials, processes, and equipment. Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to deliver measurable improvement projects. Partner with Operations to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions. Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including SOPs, control plans, and ECNs. Contribute to CAPEX planning and justification for new tools, jigs, and equipment. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all H&S standards. Why come and work for us?
